Tesis ini meneliti tentang tingkat literasi informasi mahasiswa skripsi dan apakah
pelatihan literasi informasi yang diberikan di luar kegiatan Orientasi Belajar
Mahasiswa (OBM) memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat literasi mahasiswa. Tesis
ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan data berupa
kuesioner yang dibuat berdasarkan Information Literary Competency Standards
for Higher Education dari ACRL serta uji kemampuan literasi informasi yang
tersedia secara online dan juga berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan pada saat
pelatihan literasi informasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pelatihan
literasi informasi yang diberikan di luar kegiatan OBM memiliki pengaruh
terhadap tingkat literasi informasi mahasiswa.



Abstract

This thesis examines the information literacy level from undergraduate students
who worked on the thesis and weather the information literacy training that held
outside the Student Learning Orientation (OBM) has an influence on student
literacy levels. This thesis uses a quantitative approach, while questionnaire was
used for data collection. The questionnaire was made based on Information
Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education of the ACRL and from the
test that available online and also based on the observations from the information
literacy training activities. The conclusion of this study is that information literacy
training that held outside the OBM activities have influence to the information
literacy levels.
