| 520 Ringkasan/Abstrak/Intisari | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia dalam mencari informasi terkait wisata. Penelitian ini mencoba menyelidiki informasi terkait wisata yang mereka butuhkan, sumber informasi terkait wisata yang mereka gunakan, dan kendala yang mereka temukan dalam mencari informasi terkait wisata. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Wilson (1996) sebagai kerangka teori. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei deskriptif. Responden yang menjawab kuesioner pada penelitian ini berjumlah 69 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia membutuhkan informasi terkait wisata dan mereka melakukan pencarian terhadap informasi tersebut. Di antara jenis informasi terkait wisata yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia adalah informasi terkait destinasi, akomodasi/penginapan, dan transportasi. Sedangkan detail informasi ini juga sangat dibutuhkan oleh mereka, terutama informasi terkait lokasi, akses, dan biaya. Mayoritas siswa melakukan pencarian informasi terkait wisata menggunakan smartphone mereka. Mesin pencari (seperti Google dan lainnya), informasi dari mulut ke mulut, aplikasi peta, dan media sosial termasuk Youtube adalah sumber informasi yang paling sering mereka gunakan. Di antara kendala yang sering mereka temukan adalah informasi terkait travel yang tidak up-to-date dan sumber informasi yang kurang memadai.
......The research aims to understand the behavior of University of Indonesia students in seeking travel-related information. This research tries to investigate the travel-related information they need, the sources of travel-related information they use, and the obstacles they find in searching for travel-related information. The research was conducted using Wilson's (1996) model as a theoretical framework. The method used in this research is a descriptive survey. Respondents who answered the questionnaire in this study amounted to 69 students. The results show that the majority of University of Indonesia students need travel-related information and they search for that information. Among the types of travel-related information that are really needed by University of Indonesia students are information related to destinations, accommodation/lodging, and transportation. While the details of this information are also very much needed by them, especially information related to location, access, and costs. The majority of students conduct searches travel-related information using their smartphones. Search engines (such as Google and others), word of mouth, maps applications, and social media including Youtube are the sources of information they use most often. Among the obstacles that they often find are travel-related information that is not up-to-date and information sources are inadequate. |
