The establishment of Euro as the European Union single currency shows that the development of European integration has reach beyond what was imagined before. The Euro as single currency is not just a product of the Union monetary policy but it also becoming a symbol of European. The presents of Euro affect not only the economic growth of its region but also affect the awareness of the Union citizen toward European identity. The rejection through referendum by three countries Sweden, Denmark and Britain shows not all European Union citizen agrees with Euro. Supports and rejection along its establishment shows the Euro position as one of the European symbols is debatable. The supportive monetary policy establishment and publication to European Union citizens show the Union enthusiasm in building the European trust for Euro, weather it's economically or socially. The discussion on this thesis tries to explore the Euro as part of the European identity in the European Union.
