Pendelegasian kepala ruang merupakan kunci keberhasilan dalam pemberian asuhan keperatwan yang berkualitas. Pendelegasian kepala ruang sendiri jika silakukan dengan teknik yang tepat dan benar akan dapat mempengaruhi kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam memeberikan asuhan keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pendelegasian kepala ruang dan karakteristik perawat pelaksana dengan kinerja perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan. Desain penelitian adalah deskripsi korelasi dengan rancangan cross sectional. Hasil penelitian ini sangant mendukung untuk kepala ruang melakukan pendelegasian dengan teknik tertulis untuk mendekegasikan tugasnya kepada perawat pelaksana sehingga kinerja mereka meningkat
