Inisiasi menyusu dini merupakan suatu perilaku berdasarkan naluri alamiah dari bayi baru lahir. Salah satu manfaat inisiasi menyusu dini adalah mempertahankan suhu tubuh bayi. Untuk itu peneliti ingin mengetahui tentang pengaruh inisiasi menyusu dini terhadap suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir dan suhu tubuh ibu di PKD Pandes dan RBG Solo Peduli Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh inisiasi menyusu dini terhadap suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir dan ibu di PKD Pandes dan RBG Solo Peduli Surakarta. Desain penelitian adalah "quasi eksperimen" dengan rancangan "nonequivalent control group design". Sampel berjumlah 35 responden. Responden diberi tindakan IMD sampai bayi dapat menemukan puting dan menyusu sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan tindakan IMD (p value = 0.000). Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara suhu tubuh ibu sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan tindakan IMD (p value = 0.000). Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir antara yang dilakukan tindakan IMD dengan yang tidak dilakukan IMD (p value = 0.000). Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara suhu tubuh ibu yang dilakukan tindakan IMD dengan yang tidak dilakukan IMD (p value = 0.005). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara kelompok intervensi dengan kelompok kontrol.

Early breastfeeding initiation is the natural instinctive behaviour of the newborn. One of the benefit from early breastfeeding initiation is importance for newborn to maintenance the body temperature. So the researcher need to know the effect of early breastfeeding initiation toward the newborn temperature and the mother temperature at PKD Pandes and RBG Solo Peduli in Surakarta. The aim of this study was the effect of early initiation program to the newborn temperature and the mother temperature at PKD Pandes and RBG Solo Peduli in Surakarta. A Quasi eksperimental research design with nonequivalent control group design was used in this study. Thirty five responden were selected using acidental sampling technique as the sample of the study. Early initiation were given to the responden until the baby found the mothers putting and the baby can be breastfeeding.

The result of this study was indicated that any different of significant between pretest and postest of the newborn temperature after early breastfeeding initiation (p value = 0.000). There is different of significant between pretest and postest of the mother temperature after early breastfeeding initiation (p value = 0.000). There is different of significant from the newborn temperature between eksperimen group and control group. There is different of significant from the mother temperature between eksperimen group and control group. The finding of this study was different of significant between eksperimen group and control group.
