Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) menganalisis literatur yang digunakan dalam tesis ekonomi syariah UI (selanjutnya disebut UI) dan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (selanjutnya disebut UIN) tahun 2003-2007; (2) menganalisis subyek yang dikaji oleh UI dan UIN melalui analisis co-classificatlorr, (3) mengidentifikasi keterkaitan subyek pada tesis UI dan UIN. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis bibliometrika. Hasilnya adalah: (1) Jenis literatur yang paling banyak disitir baik pada tesis UI maupun UIN adalah buku; (2) Bahasa literatur yang disitir, baik pada tesis UI maupun UIN sebagian besar adalah bahasa Indonesia (3) Tempat terbit literatur yang disitir, baik pada tesis UI dan UIN sebagian besar berasal dari Indonesia; (4) Pengarang yang paling banyak disitir dalam tesis UI adalah Adiwarman Azwar Karim, sedangkan UIN Murasa Sarkaniputra; (5) Jurnal yang paling banyak disitir dalam tesis UI adalah International Journal of Islamic Financial Serivces, sedangkan UIN Jurnal Ulumul Qur'an; (6) Judul buku yang paling banyak disitir dalam tesis UI adalah “Bank syariah dari teori ke praktik” sedangkan pada tesis UIN adalah "Al Fiqh al Islam wa adillatuhu”-, (7) Rata-rata umur literatur yang disitir dalam tesis UI adalah 6 tahun, sedangkan UIN 11,5 tahun; (8) Paro hidup literatur yang disitir dalam tesis UI adalah 16,2 tahun, sedangkan UIN 19,4 tahun. Pada tahap analisis co-classification diketahui bahwa subyek tesis UI berjumlah 25 subyek, sedangkan UIN 17 subyek. Dalam tesis UI maupun UIN, subyek yang paling diminati adalah perbankan syariah. Terdapat persamaan subyek antara UI dan UIN yaitu perbankan syariah, pegadaian syariah, moneter (uang) dalam perspektif syariah, saham syariah, obligasi syriah, asuransi syariah, zakat, perilaku konsumen, serta perilaku, preferensi dan reaksi konsumen dari perspektif syariah.

The objectives of this research are : (1) to identify the characteistic of the literature used in sharia economic theses of UI and UIN from 2003-2007; (2) to identify the theses subjects of sharia economic-field of UI and UIN; (3) identify the relation of sharia economic-field between UI and UIN. This research is a quantitavive using the bibliometric analysis. The results are: (1) books are the most frequently cited literature form which is used in the UI and UIN theses; (2) the majority of literatur cited in UI and UIN theses are in Bahasa Indonesia; (3) the majority of literatur cited in UI and UIN theses are from Indonesia; (4) the most frequently cited authors in UI theses is Adiwarman Azwar Karim, while in UIN is Murasa Sarkaniputra; (5) the most frequently cited journal in UI theses is International Journal of Islamic Financial Serivces, while in UIN is Jurnal Ulumul Qur'an, (6) the most frequently cited book in UI theses is”Bank syariah dari teori ke praktik”, while in UIN is “/1/ Fiqh al Islam wa adillatuhu"', (7) the average age of the cited literature in UI theses is 6 years, and UIN is 11,5 years; (8) the half-life of cited literature in UI theses is 16,2 years, and UIN is 19,4 years. The result of the co-classification analysis is there are 24 subjects of sharia-economic field in UI theses, and 17 in UIN theses, and there is a similarity of sharia economic-field between UI and UIN.
