Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai kelayakan kualitatif maupun kuantitatif PLTL Kobold di dusun Ketapang, Lombok Timur dan mengembangkan suatu Community Development Plan yang didukung PLTL sehingga nilai kelayakannya dapat diterima masyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kelayakan proyek pembangkit listrik tenaga arus laut kobold sangat ditentukan oleh faktor Kobold sebagai prototype penelitian yang tingkat keberhasilannya diharapkan oleh masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi. Untuk meningkatkan tingkat kelayakan proyek tersebut perlu dikembangkan community development plan dengan program-program berupa sosialisasi proyek, pembentukan kelembagaan dan pengembangan unit usaha baru.

This study aimsfor knowing which dominant factors affect the value of qualitative and quantitative feasibility of PLTL Kobold in the Ketapang village, East Lombok, and develop a Community Development Plan which is supported so that the value of PLTL feasibility acceptable by the society. Results from this research project is that the feasibility of power flow of the sea kobold is determined by factors Kobold as a research prototype that success rate is expected by society to improve social conditions and economic development. To increase the feasibility of the project should be developed with the community development plan programs include socialization project, the establishment of institutional arrangements and new business development unit.
