The modern and hitech equipment on operation, in one face can give more friendly user or make it easy, in other face can be make it trouble, such as the knowledge of worker to handle the equipment, the implementation of environment working and sense of discipline still minimum. In a working, an employee needs guarantee of his health and safety life in the company. This becomes a primary requirement to build a secure feeling amongst employees which may give a better result of his work, furthermore, this can also support the objectives of the company it self.
The Research Question are How the Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management System, Case Study of Aspect Safety of Air Transport at PT.Merpati, and secondly to identify the employee`s perception of that system implementation. Approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. In addition, a descriptive type of research was chosen to be in line with the research purposes. This research used 194 employee of Flight Crew division and 48 employee of Aircraft Maintenance division as population, and had 66 employee of Flight Crew division and 32 employee of Aircraft Maintenance division as samples.
The sample was chosen by using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was using questionaires and interviews. And then, data was being analyzed using univariate technique. The Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management System, Aspect of Air Transport Safety at PT. Merpati Nusantara Airlines based on the observation by researcher is exceptional. Furthermore, employee`s perception of that system implementation is also exceptional. However, PT.Merpati needs to reanalyze policies of the documentation of some health and safety documents in order to give a better change for that system implemantation.
