Skripsi ini membahas perkembangan Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indonesia atau PSSI pada kurun waktu 1959-1964. Pada masa itu, PSSI berada di bawah kepemimpinan Abdul Wahab Djojohadikoesoemo. PSSI pada saat itu sempat meraih prestasi yang membanggakan, dalam satu tahun PSSI berhasil mendapatkan juara pertama di tiga kejuaraan internasional. Namun, munculnya beberapa insiden, yaitu Insiden Mattoangin, Insiden Senayan, serta konflik antara Kogor dan PSSI telah mencederai kegemilangan prestasi tersebut. Setelah terjadi insiden-insiden tersebut, PSSI mengalami kegagalan dalam dua event besar, yaitu Asian Games ke-IV dan Ganefo yang dilangsungkan di Jakarta.
This writing describes the development of the Indonesian Footbal Association (PSSI) from 1959 until 1964. During that period, PSSI was under the leadership of Abdul Wahab Djojohadikoesoemo. It was during his leadership when PSSI had achieved an outstanding accomplishment; in only one year, PSSI succeeded to get first place in three international competitions. However, due to several inccidents such as Mattoangin Inccident, Senayan Inccident, and the conflict between them and Kogor, PSSI has ruined its own shine. After those inccidents, PSSI underwent failures in two major events; The Fourth Asian Games and Ganefo which was held in Jakarta.
