Type specimens have a very high scientific value in studying taxonomy. At the present day, Ceplhalopods now bwcome one group of mollusc that have been intensively studied. After studying several references, author succedly compiled as much as 29 Cephalopods species that their type localities were come from Indonesian water. Type locality can be specified and detail, but sometimes it can be unspecified. Hopefully this compiled information will useful for other scientists who interest in studying Cephalopoda from Indonesia
