Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak negatif keberadaan Unit Pengolahan Sampah (UPS) Perumnas II Depok Tengah bagi masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini menjelaskan latar belakang dibangunnya UPS Perumnas II Depok Tengah, sistem pengolahan sampah di UPS dan dampak negatif keberadaan UPS Perumnas II Depok Tengah bagi masyarakat. Melalui penelitian ini diketahui bagaimana keberadaan UPS Perumnas II Depok Tengah sehingga berdampak negatif bagi masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi agar pengelolan sampah di suatu kota tidak memberikan dampak negatif bagi masyarakat di sekitar instalasi pengolahan sampah.
