Every end-user of goods and/or services available at community, for individual benefit, family, other person and another human kinds has the right to legal protection. Cellular-phones user have the right to legal protection from any illegal action conducted by cellular operator. A decision giving beneficial impact to the consumer of cellular-phone is KPPU's decision No. 07/KPPU-L/2007. The benefit is reduction on cellular-phone tariff according to government in this case Department of Communication and Information dated 4 February 2008 concerning policy on tariff of phone service including cellular-phone. A new thing which shall receive appreciation from the KPPU's decision is to place consumer interest as priority in its evaluation over violation of article 27 of Act No. 5 year 1999 concerning Antimonopoly and Unfair Competition.
