The spectacular development in computer technology such as internet has the impact on globalization of information which is a prominent pillar of international business and trading. The information technology always facing with new challenges and there always new things to learn in order to be able to taking up the glove arising therefrom in an extremely short time. The law born follows a community development to assure the exixtence of community tranquility. Thus, in case of international trading arrangement based upon information technology, every single electronic transaction there requires to be arranged in a new regulation known as the Information and Electronic Transaction Law No. 11 year 2008 (UU ITE). The question: how far is the effectiveness of the law No. 11/2008 in trading practice especially in case of electronic transaction?
