Hubungan faktor personal dan faktor kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen keorganisasian sale force dalam bisnis direct selling

 Abstract

Salesforce merupakan mesin penggerak bagi organisasi bisnis direct selling agar bisa mencapai tujuannya tersebut. Salah satu organisasi bisnis direct selling yang sedang berkembang pesat saat ini adalah Tupperware. Penelitian ini membahas tentang hubungan faktor personal dan faktor kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen sales force dalam bisnis direct selling. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 72 orang sales force Tupperware yang berstatus Team Captain, Unit Manager dan Group Manager yang berada di distributor Alif Rose (Distributor pertama Tupperware di Indonesia). Pengukuran terhadap kepuasan kerja dilakukan dengan menggunakan Minnesotta Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), sedangkan pengukuran terhadap komitmen keorganisasian menggunakan Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) yang dikembangkan oleh Allen Meyer. Teknik analisis data dalarn penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan menggunakan uji statistic Cramer's V dan Spearman.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen keorganisasian sales force yang paling dominan adalah komitmen keorganisasian afektif. Variabel usia, masa kerja, tingkat pendidikan, jenis kelarnin, dan status perkawinan tidak berhubungan dengan komitmen keorganisasian sales force, namun kepuasan kerja memiliki hubungan yang sedang dan positif dengan komitmen keorganisasian sales force.

Sales force is the driving engine for the direct selling business organization in order to achieve these goals. One of the direct selling business organizations which are emerging now is Tupperware. This study discusses the relationship of personal factors and factors of job satisfaction with the sales force?s commitment in the business of direct selling. Research conducted on 72 people Tupperware sales force with the status of Team Captain, Unit Manager and Group Manager in the distributor Alif Rose (first Tupperware Distributor in Indonesia). Measurement of job satisfaction by using Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), while the measurement of organizational commitment using the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) developed by Allen Meyer. The data analysis technique in this research is the correlation by using Cramer's V statistical test and
Spearman's.
The results of this study indicate that the most dominant sales force organizational commitment is the affective organizational commitment. The variables of age, years of education level, gender, and marital status are not related to sales force organizational commitment, but job satisfaction has a moderate and positive relationships with sales force organizational commitment.
