The influences of ether extract of Leek (Allius porrum

Linn®) on the glucoses, triacylglycerol and cholesterol blood

levels of the albino rats have been studied.

Rats, fed with sucrose at the dose equivalent to 10 gr

perkilogram body weight/day for a period of 60 days increaced

their triacylglycerol and cholesterol plasma blood level sig

nificantly . ,
