Tanaman Acalypha indica Linn dan Peperomia pellucida [L] H.B.K digunakan secara empiris untuk mengobati penyakit gout. Penelitian tentang kombinasi kedua tanaman ini sangat penting mengingat obat herbal yang tersedia adalah dalam bentuk campuran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian campuran ekstrak akar Acalypha indica Linn dan ekstrak herba Peperomia pellucida [L] H.B.K secara oral selama 30 hari terhadap eritrosit, leukosit, trombosit dan kadar hemoglobin tikus putih. Pada penelitian ini digunakan 72 ekor tikus yang dibagi dalam enam kelompok dosis uji. Dosis I, II, III yaitu ekstrak Acalypha indica dan Peperomia pellucida, masing-masing berupa suspensi campuran ekstrak 2,7 g/200 g bb dan 0,1 g/200 g bb; 5,4 g/200 g bb dan 0,2 g/200 g bb; serta 10,8 g/200 g bb dan 0,4 g/200 g bb tikus . Dosis IV dan V merupakan dosis tunggal ekstrak 5,4 g/200 g bb akar Acalypha indica dan ekstrak 0,2 g/200 gram bb herba Peperomia pellucida. Dosis VI yaitu kontrol normal yang diberi larutan CMC 0,5 %. Pemeriksaan jumlah eritrosit, leukosit, trombosit dan kadar hemoglobin dilakukan pada hari ke 0 dan 31. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik (ANAVA) satu arah diperoleh bahwa pemberian campuran kedua ekstrak tersebut tidak berpengaruh terhadap hematologi tikus putih (p≥0,05).

The plants of Acalypha indica Linn and Peperomia pellucida [L] H.B.K was used empirically to cure gout. The research about combination of both plant is very significant as a lot of traditional medicine in market is usually blending formulation. The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of disposing extract of the Acalypha indica Linn roots and Peperomia pellucida [L] H.B.K herbs combination orally during 30 days towards erythrocyte, leucocyte, thrombocyte, and haemoglobin levels of white rats. In this research, 72 rats were divided into six groups of experimental doses. Doses I, II, III were Acalypha indica and Peperomia pellucida extracts, each of them was extract mixture suspension 2,7 g/200 g bw and 0,1 g/200 g bw; 5,4 g/200 g bw and 0,2 g/200 g bw; also 10,8 g/200 g bw and 0,4 g/200 g bw of rats. Doses IV and V were single dose of 5,4 g/200 g bw Acalypha indica roots extract and 0,2 g/200 g bw Peperomia pellucida herb extract. Normal control group which was given 0,5 % CMC solution as doses VI. Determination of total erythrocyte, leucocyte, thrombocyte, and haemoglobin level were done on day-0 and day-31. Based on statistic test one-way (ANAVA), the result showed that the disposing of the combination from both of the extract have no effect towards white rats haematologic ( p > 0,05).
