Dunia industri yang semakin kompetitif membuat setiap perusahaan berupaya meningkatkan kualitas produknya dengan memperhatikan keinginan dan kebutuhan pelanggan. Salah satu langkah yang ditempuh dalam meningkatkan kualitas suatu produk adalah dengan melakukan proses pengembangan produk dengan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Walaupun QFD memiliki beberapa kelebihan, namun metode tersebut cenderung bersifat subyektif terutama dalam penenluan target karakteristik teknis.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Fuzzy QFD untuk menentukan nilai karakteristik teknis yang optimal bagi produk rowing tractor yang diproduksi oleh PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering dengan mempertimbangkan ketidakpastian dan kekaburan dalam penentuan tingkat kepentingan, kepuasan, hubungan antara atribut keinginan konsumen dengan karakteristik telmis dan antar karakteristik teknis. Langkah pertama adalah menentukan koefisien parameter antar atribut dengan regresi linear fuzzy. Selanjutnya koefisien tersebut akan menjadi pembatas dalam menentukan nilai karakteristik teknis yang optimal melalui multiobjective decision making beserta pernbatas-pembatas lainnya.Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai karakteristik teknis yang optimal untuk produk towing tractor yang berfokus pada peningkatan horse power, tire size, gradeability serta penurunan height, length, width, wheelbase, tread rear, dan service weight.

The increasing competitiveness of today’s industry forced each company to improve the quality of its products by considering customer demand. One way to improve the quality is by doing a product development process using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Regardless of all the benehts QFD possessed, this method is subjective by nature, especially in the detemiination of technical characteristics target efforts.

This study uses lirzzy QFD method to point out the optimal technical characteristics value for towing tractor product, produced by PT. United Tractors Pandu Engineering, with special acknowledgement on uncertainties and vagueness in determining importance rating, satisfaction level, the relationship between customer atributes with technical characteristics, and technical correlation- The first step is to decide on a parameter coeficient between atributes using fuzzy linear regression technique- This coefficient will act as a boundary in determining the optimal technical characteristics value with the means of multiobjective decision making, along with other boundaries.

Consequently, technical characteristics values for towing tractor product, with the emphasis on improvement on horse power, tire size, gradeability and on the reducing height, length, width,wheelbase, tread rear, and service weight will be obtained.
