Kualitas jaringan CDMA 2001 xEVDO dalam penelitian ini ditinjau dari besarnya throughput rata-rata, deviasi dan perbandingan input output data yang lewat dalam jaringan CDMA 2001 xEVDO selama proses streaming dilakukan dengan tipe data, ukuran bit rate yang berbeda-beda baik dalam kondisi diam ataupun dalam kondisi bergerak. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk meneliti kualitas jaringan CDMA 2001 xEVDO sehingga akan diketahui bagaimana throughputnya, ukuran bit rate file dan jenis file apa yang cocok digunakan untuk melakukan proses streaming di dalam jaringan tersebut. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan dapat baik secara statis maupun secara mobile disimpulkan bahwa ukuran bit rate file yang cocok dipakai untuk menjalankan proses streaming adalah 50kbps dimana didapat throughput rata-rata sebesar 12000 B/s atau 42%. Sedangkan untuk tipe data yang cocok dipakai adalah mpeg4 yaitu dengan rata-rata throughput sebesar 12150 B/s atau sebesar 43.23%. Dari pengujian juga terlihat bahwa kualitas jaringan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas sinyal dan dalam kondisi apa streaming dilakukan, apakah dalam kondisi diam atau bergerak. Dimana jika dalam kondisi bergerak perpindahan antar cell dan besarnya bit rate file sangat mempengaruhi kualitas dari video streamingnya.

The network quality of CDMA 2001 x EVDO in this thesis has been measured from amount of the network's throughput, and comparision between data input and output in CDMA 2001 xEVDO network . Measured test has been tested with different types of data and different bit rate. It also has been tested with two diffrent conditions which in static condition and in mobile condition.

This thesis has been made for researching the quality of CDMA 2001 x EVDO's network and the result will give a point about the network throuhgput, which types and bit rate files that we can use to doing a video streaming in this network area.

At the result, we can get the conclution that the best bit rate we can use is 50 kbps which the network's throghput is 12000 B/s or 42%. For the type of data, we can use MPEG4, which have a network's throughput as 12150 B/s or 43.23%.

From the test, we can see that the quality of network are depend on the signal quality and the condition of the tested, static or mobile condition. In the mobile condition, the quality of the video are depend on the amount of Data's bit rate and handover process between cell.
