Peningkatan kebutuhan pasar terhadap produk otomotif di dalam negeri khususnya kendaraan roda empat membuat PT. ADM sebagai perusahaan manufaktur perakitan mobil terus meningkatkan target kapasitas produksinya. Usaha yang dilakukan adalah dengan mempercepat waktu produksinya serta menetapkan target efisiensi diatas 95% dari setiap posnya terhadap target waktu yang telah ditetapkan. Di jalur welding target efisiensi tersebut sulit untuk dicapai. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor mesin, lingkungan dan manusia yang tidak sesuai dengan aspek ergonomi. Analisa ergonomi telah dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut dengan menggunakan metode Muscle Fatique Assessment untuk faktor manusia dan metode Environmental untuk faktor lingkungan. Hasilnya adalah efisiensi produksi yang dicapai rata-rata diatas 95%, sesuai target yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan.
