Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan trait kepribadian The Big Five Factor dengan kematangan karir di SMA. Dalam penelitian ini, kematangan karir diukur menggunakan CDI (Career Developmental Inventory) dikembangkan oleh Super & Thompson (1979) yang telah diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi oleh peneliti. Trait kepribadian diukur menggunakan Short form for the IPIP-NEO (International Personality Item Pool Representation of The NEO PI-R) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Safitri (2007), kemudian dimodifikasi oleh Amalia (2008), dan dimodifikasi kembali oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 267 siswa SMA kelas XI. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik analisis korelasi berganda pada SPSS 17.0. Nilai F diperoleh sebesar 13,134 (p<.000) dan nilai R sebesar .453 yang berarti bahwa variabel trait kepribadian The Big Five Factor secara bersama-sama berhubungan dengan Kematangan Karir pada siswa SMA. Disamping itu juga ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara trait extraversion dengan kematangan karir siswa SMA.The purpose of this research was to know the correlation between personality trait, The Big Five Factor and career maturity in high school student. In this research, survey of career maturity using CDI (Career Developmental Inventory) developed by Super and Thompson (1979), which adapted and modificated by researcher. Survey of personality traits using Short form for the IPIP-NEO (International Personality Item Pool Representation of The NEO PI-R), adapted by Safitri (2007), modificated by Amalia (2008), and re-modificated by researcher. This research is ex-post facto research and using questionnaire as a data collect tool. The participant in this research was 267 2nf grader high school student. The data was analized by multiple correlation technique on SPSS 17.0. The result shown that there were significant correlation between personality trait, The Big Five Factor and Career Maturity in high school student with F value shown as 13,134 (p <.000) and with R value (coefficient correlation) .4S3. Significant relationships have also been obtained between extraversion and career maturity in high school student.
