Many terrorism acts attacked tourist areas with tourists as the terrorist‟s prime target. By attacking groups of foreign tourists, it would gain bigger impact to the world citizens and countries so they could reach the higher existence and spread fear among their target groups. As the terrorism acts often occured in Indonesia, many other countries started to issue travel advisory for Indonesia which probably emerged vigilance and fear among their citizens. However, this policy not always suceeded, there are still many foreigners coming to Indonesia especially on vacation purpose. Considerable part of them are backpacker tourists, which is a group of free-minded and challange-seeking traveller that sometimes also look for ?adventure‟. This research is trying to find out the experiences of five backpackers from three different countries in Europe (England, Netherland and Sweden) which related to their point of view and feelings about terrorism issues post Bali Bombing in 2002 (and many other terrorism act that have occured since then). The research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews and literature then analized with configurations that relate to fear of crime, terrorism and the existence of travel advisory.
