ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji aspek ergonomi postur kerja praktik pencabutan gigi posterior atas oleh mahasiswa FKG UI dalam lingkungan virtual. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan Vicon System dan dianalisis menggunakan software jack 6.1. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) yang terdiri dari Low Back Analysis, Ovako Working Poture Analysis, dan Rapid Upper Limb Assessment. Tujuannya untuk mengevaluasi postur kerja pencabutan aktual dan menentukan konfigurasi yang ergonomis ditinjau dari derajat kemiringan sandaran kursi pasien. Dihasilkan 2 konfigurasi untuk P5 dan 2 konfigurasi untuk P95. Hasil penelitian menyarankan rancangan konfigurasi dengan derajat kemiringan sebesar +15° untuk P5 dan +30° untuk P95 dengan memposisikan kepala sekitar 5-10 cm di atas dataran siku serta merancang usulan standar prosedur operasional yang ergonomis.

ABSTRACTThis research studies ergonomic aspect of the upper posterior tooth extraction working posture performed by students of University of Indonesia in virtual environment. Vicon System was used to capture motion and Jack 6.1 was used to analyzed it. Posture Evaluation Index was an approach that consisted of Low Back Analysis, Ovako Working Analysis System, and Rapid Upper Limb Assessment. The objective is to evaluate actual working posture and determine the most ergonomic configuration in terms of dental unit back rest slope degree. There are 2 configurations for P5 and 2 configurations for P95. The results suggest the most ergonomic configuration is to to position the head approximately 5-10 cm above the plains of the elbow by adjust the slope degree of +15 ° for P5 and +30° for P95 and to design the standard operating procedures based on the ergonomic aspects.
