Sekolah merupakan institusi pendidikan formal yang melakukan transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kepada siswa. Tidak hanya sebatas pada transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, tetapi sekolah juga merupakan agen sosialisasi yang membentuk perilaku siswa seperti yang diinginkan oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana hubungan antara sosialisasi pendidikan di sekolah dan sosialisasi pendidikan dalam keluarga terhadap perilaku penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pengertian dari perilaku penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi itu sendiri adalah tindakan siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara berulang. Penggunaan ini sendiri akan efektif jika siswa memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut untuk keperluan akademis dengan porsi yang lebih besar daripada kepentingan lain.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulam data melalui survey yang dilakukan di SMAN ?X? Jakarta. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 165 yang terdiri dari siswa kelas X, kelas XI, dan kelas XII. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling non-proporsional sehingga dapat melihat gradasi jawaban responden berdasarkan tingkatan kelas.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel sosialisasi pendidikan di sekolah dan variabel sosialisasi pendidikan dalam keluarga berpengaruh terhadap perilaku penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dengan kekuatan hubungan yang lemah. Di dalam variabel sosialisasi pendidikan di sekolah terdapat empat dimensi yang juga diuji pengaruhnya yaitu peran guru, kurikulum tertulis, hidden curriculum, dan peer group. Dari keempat dimensi tersebut dimensi kurikulum menjadi dimensi yang paling kuat dalam mempengaruhi perilaku penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi siswa. Berbeda dengan tiga dimensi lain, hasil pengujian statistik mengungkapkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara dimensi peer group dengan perilaku penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pada variabel sosialisasi pendidikan dalam keluarga, lemahnya hubungan antara sosialisasi pendidikan dalam keluarga disebabkan oleh lemahnya kontrol orang tua terhadap perilaku penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi siswa yang kecendrungannya disebabkan oleh ketidakmampuan orang tua dalam mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat.
Schools are educational institutions that conduct formal transfer of science and technology to student. Not only limited to the transfer of science and technology, but the school is also an agent of socialization that shape student behavior as desired by the community. This study aims to see how the relationship between the socialization of education in schools and educational socialization in the family of the behavior of the use of information and communication technology. Understanding of the behavior of the use of information and communication technology itself is the act of the students in using information and communication technology repeatedly. Use of this alone would be effective if student utilize these technologies for academic purpose with a larger portion than other interests. This study uses quantitative methods with survey techniques in SMAN "X" Jakarta. The number of sample in this study is 165 which consists of grade X, XI and XII classes. Technique sampling using a stratified random sampling nonproportional in order to see the gradations of respondent's answer based on grade level. The result of this study indicate that the variable socialization of education in schools and education in the family socialization variables influence the behavior of the use of information and communication technology with the strength of weak ties. In socialization variable of education in school there are four dimensions that also tested the effect of the role of teachers, written curriculum, hidden curriculum and peer group. From the fourth dimensions, the dimensions of the curriculum is the most powerful in influencing the behavior of the use of information technology and communications students. Unlike the three other dimensions, the statistical tests revealed result that there is no relationship between the dimensions of the peer group with the behavior of the use of information and communication technology. Family socialization show low influence towards information technology usage behavior. It was because parents could not follow the technology development.which have progressive development.
