ABSTRAKUsia siswa SMP berada pada tahap perkembangan remaja yang berisiko
mengalami masalah kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran
persepsi siswa SMP dalam menerapkan PHBS di sekolah. Pendekatan
fenomenologi deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian. Enam tema yang
teridentifikasi yaitu perilaku mendukung penerapan PHBS, kurang peduli
terhadap penerapan PHBS, penerapan prinsip dasar PHBS, faktor penghambat
pembentukan PHBS, faktor pendukung pembentukan PHBS, dan harapan siswa
dan guru untuk terlaksananya PHBS. Pembinaan guru UKS, pendidikan kesehatan
kepada guru sekolah, integrasi PHBS dalam kurikulum, pembentukan peer group
remaja direkomendasikan dilakukan di sekolah. Penelitian selanjutnya
direkomendasikan untuk melakukan observasi keterampilan siswa menerapkan
PHBS.
ABSTRACTThe junior high school students have risks on health problems. This study aimed
to portrait junior high school students? perception in applying clean and healthy
behavior (CHB). A descriptive phenomenological approach was applied. Six
themes were identified: supporting behavior on CHB, low concern about CHB,
applying basic principles of CHB, inhibiting and supporting factors on the CHB
formation, and the students and teachers expectation for implementing CHB. It is
recommended to conduct school health teacher coaching, teachers? health
education, integration of CHB in school curriculum, establishment of peer group
in school besides observing students? skill applying CHB for future study.
