ABSTRAKJumlah kasus ibu hamil dan melahirkan dengan HIV dari tahun ke tahun semakin
meningkat baik di dunia maupun di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggali
pengalaman ibu yang terdeteksi HIV tentang dukungan keluarga selama
persalinan dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Delapan partisipan dipilih
berdasarkan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara
mendalam dan analisa data menggunakan analisa tematik. Sebagian besar
partisipan mendapatkan dukungan keluarga berupa dukungan emosional, spiritual,
finansial dan informasi sedangkan sisanya tidak mendapatkan dukungan.
Dukungan yang didapatkan ibu menimbulkan perasaan bahagia dan tenang.
Beberapa partisipan mendapatkan perlakuan negatif akibat stigma dari keluarga
dan pemberi pelayanan kesehatan. Perawat maternitas berperan menerapkan
asuhan keperawatan melibatkan keluarga yang memperhatikan psikologi, sosial
dan spiritual ibu selama persalinan.
ABSTRACTThe number of pregnant women and giving birth who are suffering from HIV
from year to year tends to increase in the world and Indonesia. This research was
a phenomenological qualitative study which explored the experiences of mother
who has been diagnosed HIV about family?s support during labor. Eight
participants were selected based on purposive sampling. Data were collected by
in-depth interview technique, and were analised by tematic analysis. Most of
participants obtained emosional, spiritual, financial support and relevan
information from their family. On the other hand, a few of participants did not
receive support from their family. This study found that family?s support for
mothers during their pregnant and giving birth would emerging happines and feel
calm. Some participants obtained a negative responses as a consequence of stigma
from their family and health care providers. Maternity nurse has a role for
applying nursing care by involving family to provide direct care by giving
psychological, social, and spiritual support for mothers during labor.
