ABSTRAK
Harga diri merupakan penilaian pribadi individu terhadap hasil yang dicapai dengan menganalisis seberapa jauh perilaku memenuhi ideal dirinya. Harga diri dipengaruhi oleh persepsi diri sendiri dan orang lain serta pengalaman terkait keberhasilan atau kegagalan. Diterima di Universitas Indonesia yang merupakan universitas yang diminati di Indonesia dapat dianggap pencapaian yang positif yang dapat meningkatkan harga diri remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi gambaran harga diri mahasiswa S1 reguler dan mahasiswa profesi 2011 di Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data pada penelitian ini berjumlah 132 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 72 mahasiswa reguler dan 60 mahasiswa profesi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik quota sampling. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan harga diri positif dimiliki oleh 47,2% mahasiswa reguler dan 66,7% mahasiswa profesi. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi harga diri mahasiswa keperawatan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan program yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang profesi perawat.

Abstract
Self-esteem is an individual‟s personal assessment of the results achieved by analyzing how far behavior meet ideal self. Self-esteem can be influenced by self perception, other perception, and the experience of successful. Accepted in University of Indonesia as a public and well known university in Indonesia can be seen as a positive achievement that can increase self-esteem of teenager. The aim of this descriptive study was to identify the academic and the profession student self-esteem 2011. Data were collected from a quota sampling from 132 students which consist of 72 academic students and 60 profession students. The results showed that 47,2% of academic students had positive self-esteem, while 66,7% of profession students had positive self-esteem. Some recommendations were proposed that a future study should be conducted to identify some factors that affecting the nursing student self-esteem. The results of this study could be beneficial to improve the nurse curriculum that increase the knowledge and the awareness of the nursing students regarding the nursing profession.;
