 Abstract

Polimerisasi senyawa aromatis anilin dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan horseradish peroksidase. Penelitian bertujuan mensintesis senyawa dimer dan polimer dari anilin dengan bantuan horseradish peroksidase dan template SPS melalui reaksi kopling oksidatif, kemudian dimer dan polimer yang terbentuk diidentifikasi karakteristiknya. Setelah dilakukan karakterisasi dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis dan GCMS diketahui bahwa senyawa dimer yang dihasilkan berupa padatan merah dengan m/z = 184 dan waktu retensi 19,115 menit. Setelah dilakukan karakterisasi dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis, FTIR, dan 1H NMR, pada penelitian ini dihasilkan kompleks polianilin/SPS dalam bentuk emeraldin garam atau emeraldin terprotonasi. Setelah direaksikan dengan NaOH dan formalin, polimer yang dihasilkan memiliki sensitivitas terhadap pelarut NaOH 0,5 μL; 1 μL; 10 μL; dan 20 μL dan formalin pada konsentrasi 5 ppm; 1 ppm; 0,5 ppm; dan 0,05 ppm. Selain itu, konduktivitas polianilin/SPS meningkat dengan bertambahnya konsentrasi anilin dalam larutan.

Polymerization of aniline aromatic compounds can be done with the help of the enzyme horseradish peroxidase. The study aims to synthesize the dimer and polymer compounds of aniline with the aid of horseradish peroxidase enzyme and SPS template through oxidative coupling reaction, then dimers and polymers that are formed are identified its characteristics by UV-Vis, GCMS, FTIR, and 1H-NMR. After characterization by UV-Vis and GCMS, the dimer is known that compounds that produced a red solid with m / z = 184 and the retention time of 19.115 minutes. After characterization by UV-Vis, FTIR, and 1H NMR, in this study produced a complex polyaniline / SPS in the form of emeraldin salts or protonated emeraldin. After reacted with NaOH and formaldehyde, the resulting polymer has a sensitivity of 0.5 μL of solvent NaOH, 1 μL, 10 μL, and 20 μL and formalin at a concentration of 5 ppm, 1 ppm, 0.5 ppm, and 0.05 ppm. In addition, the conductivity of polyaniline/SPS increases with increasing concentration of aniline in the solution.
