Manusia akan mati suatu hari, dan akan meninggalkan warisan bagi ahli warisnya. Cara pembagian harta warisan ini beraneka ragam, dapat ditentukan dari agama, suku, golongan penduduk, atau kewarganegaraan si pewaris. Yang dapat menjadi ahli waris bukan hanya anggota keluarga si pewaris, orang yang bukan merupakan anggota keluarga si pewaris juga dapat menjadi ahli waris apabila si pewaris membuat surat wasiat yang menyatakan demikian. Penulis menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dalam tulisan ini. Kesimpulannya adalah menurut Hukum Antar Tata Hukum Intern dan Hukum Antar Tata Hukum Ekstern, pewarisan diatur oleh hukum waris si pewaris.

Death is inevitable. People will die and leaving their heir inheritance. Ways to divide inheritance is varied, it can be determined from religion, tribe, the class population, or the nationality of the deceased. A heir is not always a part of the deceased's family, a heir could be a person from outside the family, if the deceased wanted that person to be according to the deceased?s will if he or she made one. In this thesis, the writer uses juridical normative research metode. The conclusion is, in inheritance cases involving Law Between Law, we uses the inheritance law of the deceased.
