ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai pola penggunaan situs jejaring sosial Facebook dengan kerentanan viktimisasi pada anak dengan menggunakan teori aktifitas rutin dan teori gaya hidup, dimana dimulai dengan hipotesa bahwa dengan tingkat gaya hidup online yang tinggi dan perlindungan online yang rendah akan membuat resiko menjadi korban cyber harrasment seperti online bullying, unwanted sexual material and solicitation, dan cyber identity theft and cyberimpersonation akan menjadi tinggi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terbuktinya hipotesa bahwagaya hidup online anak yang tinggi dan perlindungan yang lemah akanmengakibatkan viktimisasi cyber harrasment pada anak.

AbstractThis thesis discusses patterns in the use of social networking sites (in this case focusing on Facebook) by adolescents, and these patterns' relationship with the vulnerabilities towards being victimized online using routine activiy theory and life-style exposure theory. It begins with a hypothesis that high level of online lifestyle and absence of capable guardians will create a higher risk of becoming victim of cyber crimes such as online bullying, unwanted sexual material and solicitation, also cyber identity theft and cyber impersonation. This research uses a quantitative method with descriptive design. The result of this research is that despite the high level of exposure towards online lifestyle exposure, the presence of high level guardianship is capable of controlling the level of cyber harassment experience, and places it in a medium level.
