AbstractBogor City is growing rapidly population growth, especially since the beginning of 1990
approximately 2.7%, was compensated by growth in housing development as a consequence
of population growth that need a place to live.
Housing developments, especially in the northern city of Bogor requiring social facilities and
public utilities to serve the housing needs of residents. One of the vital social facilities are
educational facilities. The selection of the location of housing and educational facilities
providing accessibility refers to the path of an affordable mode of transportation. The
pattern of distribution of educational facilities to the location of housing affects the cost of
transportation from home to school.
Transportation link between the residential educational facility or school that is used is urban
transport and / or motorcycle taxis are available almost all over the city and economically
affordable.
Based on research, school distribution patterns random or random-shaped and almost in
every Village there are at least close to a school. Distance and time from housing to school
depends on the path used public transportation routes and pathways affect the cost of
