Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengkaji faktor yang menyebabkan delay di sisi udara (Airfield delay) pada Bandara Ngurah Rai. Observasi dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh faktor-faktor penyebab airfield delay yang mengakibatkan gangguan operasional penerbangan di Bandara Ngurah Rai. Metode yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pengamatan secara langsung terhadap variable push back time, taxing time dan waiting time dengan cara menghitung waktu pergerakan pesawat di setiap variable. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara uji korelasi dan regresi, kemudian hasilnya nilai koefisien determinasi (r2) adalah 0.650, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa Push Back, Taxiway dan Waiting Time berkontribusi 65% terhadap Delay Airfield, sisanya karena faktor-faktor lain. Selain itu dilakukan uji Chi-Square untuk membandingkan waktu hasil observasi dengan waktu yang dipersyaratkan oleh pihak bandara. Berdasarkan hasil uji Chisquare menyebutkan bahwa waktu hasil observasi untuk ketiga variabel lebih besar dari waktu yang di persyaratkan. Waktu rata-rata hasil observasi push back time 296,46 detik, taxing time 443,60 detik dan waiting time 243,14 detik sedangkan waktu rata-rata yang dipersyaratkan oleh pihak bandara push back time 180 detik, taxing time 360 detik dan waiting time 120 detik.

This study aimed to examine the factors that cause delay in the air (Airfield delay) at the Ngurah Rai Airport. Observations carried out to see the influence of underlying factors that lead to disruption delay Airfield flight operations at Ngurah Rai Airport. Method that does is make direct observations of the variable push-back time, taxing time and waiting time by calculating the movement of aircraft in each variable. Data processing is done by means of correlation and regression testing, then the result value of the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0,650, so it can be said that the Push Back, Taxiway and Waiting Time Delay contribute 65% of the Airfield, the remainder due to other factors. Besides Chi-Square test performed to compare the observations with the time required by the airport. Based on the results of Chi-square test states that the observations for the third variable is greater than the time requisite. The average time of observation push back time 296.46 seconds, 443.60 seconds taxing time and waiting time 243.14 seconds while the average time required by the airport push back time of 180 seconds, 360 seconds taxing time and waiting time 120 seconds.
