ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas tentang perkawinan siri dan akibat hukumnya terhadap status istri dan anak (Putusan Pengadilan Agama Bondowoso Nomor 1706/Pdt.P/2010/PA.Bdw). Perkawinan merupakan perbuatan hukum yang menimbukan akibat hukum bagi keduanya, yaitu berupa hak dan kewajiban. Oleh karena itu perkawinan harus dicatat sebagai bukti bahwa perkawinan benar tejadi sehingga para pihak mendapat perlindungan secara hukum. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep perkawinan siri menurut hukum islam dan Undang-Undang perkawinan juga untuk mengetahui akibat hukum terhadap kedudukan istri dan anak. Dalam membahas permasalahan dan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian Yuridis Normatif. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian normatif karena dalam melakukan suatu penelitian hukum, maka harus digunakan hukum positif.

ABSTRACTThis thesis draws up a Siri’s Marriage to Democile Wife, Child reviews Islamic Law and Marriage Law (Bondowoso Religious Court No. 1706 /Pdt.P/2010 /PA.Bdw). Marriage is a legal act that raises the legal consequences for both of them, in the form of rights and obligations. Therefore, marriage should be registered as evidence that marriage actually occurred so that the parties be protected by law. This thesis aims to understand the concept of marriage siri according to Islamic law and marriage law as well as to determine the legal effect of the position of his wife and children. In the analyzing the problem and attempting to achieve the said purpose, the writer uses normative research method. The Writer chooses this because in a legal research, the use of current applicable law is inevitable.
