Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara konsentrasi kunyit dan perubahan warna resin komposit nanohibrida. Sampel resin komposit nanohibrida direndam di dalam larutan kunyit konsentrasi 0.015%, 0.15%, 1.5%, atau 15% selama 24 atau 48 jam. Pengukuran warna dilakukan dengan menggunakan Vita Easy Shade dan data dianalisis mengggunakan Kruskal-Wallis dan Spearman. Ditunjukkan bahwa perendaman resin komposit nanohibrida mengakibatkan peningkatan nilai L*,a*,b*,dan ΔE *. Makin tinggi konsentrasi larutan kunyit serta makin lama waktu perendamannya mengakibatkan warna resin komposit nanohibrida menjadi makin kuning kemerahan.
The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between turmeric solution and the discoloration of nanohybrid composite resins. Nanohybrid composite resin specimens were immersed in turmeric solution with concentration of 0.015%, 0.15%, 1.5%, or 15% in 24 or 48 hours. Color changes were measured using Vita Easy Shade. Data were analyzed statistically with the Kruskal-Wallis and Spearman test. Immersion of nanohybrid composite resins have cause the raise of L*, a*, b* and ΔE value. The higher the concentration of turmeric solutions increase the reddish yellow color of the nanohybrid composite resins.
