Kejadian kapal tanker terbakar hampir setiap tahun terjadi di Indonesia ini merupakan pekerjaan rumah bagi para operator kapal dan pemerintah sebagai regulator untuk mengatasi hal tersebut mengingat kapal tanker merupakan kapal yang didesain sedemikian rupa yang seharusnya aman digunakan untuk mengangkut bahan bahan berbahaya seperti crude oil gas dan bahan kimia Penelitian ini membahas tentang evaluasi sistem proteksi aktif proteksi pasif dan sistem tanggap darurat kebakaran di sebuah kapal tanker Tujuan dibuatnya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian sistem proteksi aktif sistem proteksi pasif dan sistem tanggap darurat kebakaran dengan standar Safety Of Life At Sea SOLAS 1974 metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif melalui observasi dan telaah dokumen yang ada di kapal Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem proteksi aktif sistem proteksi pasif dan sistem tanggap darurat kebakaran di kapal tanker X belum seluruhnya memenuhi standar SOLAS rsquo 74 dan ini bias menjadi salah satu penyebab banyaknya kejadian kebakaran pada kapal tanker di Indonesia.

In Indonesia almost every year there are cases of a fire on a tanker vessels this is a problem for the vessel operators and government as regulators to solve this matter considering tanker is a ship who have specially designed in to be use for the safe transport of hazardous materials such as crude oil gas and chemicals This study discusses the evaluation of active protection systems passive protection and emergency response systems of fire in a ship tanker Objective of this study was to determine the suitability of active protection systems passive protection systems and fire emergency response system with standard Safety Of Life At Sea SOLAS 1974 the method used is descriptive research methods through observation and review of existing documents on board From the research it can be concluded that the active protection system passive protection systems and fire emergency response system in ship tanker X not fully meet the standards of SOLAS 74 This can be one of the causes of many case tanker vessels caught fire in Indonesia
