Dalam pembicaraan mengenai arsitektur di tengah-tengah banyaknya pandangan etika statis, ruang flow dan ruang still merupakan hal yang menarik untuk dibahas karena relasi kedua ruang tersebut dengan gerakan manusia. Gerakan manusia dan arsitektur merupakan dua hal yang berkaitan. Kaitan keduanya dapat terlihat pada ruang flow dan ruang still.Skripsi ini membahas karakter ruang flow dan ruang still dan bagaimana kedua ruang tersebut berperan dalam arsitektur. Karakter dan peran ruang flow dan ruang still ditunjukkan dari perbedaan antar ruang dan kaitan ruang satu dengan yang lain. Pemahaman akan karakter ruang flow dan ruang still dapat menggugah pandangan baru dalam hal perancangan arsitektur.

In the talks about architecture in the midst of plentiful ethics of statics’ view, space of flow and space of still are interesting things to be discussed, because of their relation to human movement. Human movement and architecture are two things related to each other. Relation berween them can be seen on space of flow and space of still.

This tesis discusses characters of space of flow and space of still, and how these spaces have a role in architecture. Space of flow and space of still’s characters and role are shown by differences and relation between each other. Comprehension of spaces of flow and space of still’s characters could inspire new view on architectural design.
