 Abstract

Skripsi ini meneliti apakah ada hubungan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komitmen keorganisasian, khususnya pada pegawai di organisasi sektor publik/instansi pemerintah, dengan pemberdayaan psikologis sebagai variabel mediasinya. Data diambil melalui survey, dengan metode Multi Leadership Questionaire, pemberdayaan psikologis dan Three Component Model kepada 106 orang pegawai dan dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan pemberdayaan psikologis. Begitu pula dengan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan komitmen keorganisasian. Namun pemberdayaan psikologis diketahui hanya memediasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dengan komitmen afektif, dan tidak memediasi hubungan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan komitmen berkelanjutan maupun komitmen normatif.

This research focus on investigate relationship between transformational leadership, psychological empowerment and organizational commitment. The respondent were 106 employees at several public service institution. Using Multifactor Leadership Questionaire by Bass and Avolio, Three Component Model by Allen and Meyer, and psychological empowerment questionaire by Spreitzer, we found that transformational leadership has positive and significant relationship with psychological empowerment and organizational commitment.We also found that psychogical empowerment is perfect mediator between transformational leadership and affective commitment. But, we also found that psychological empowerment not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership with continuence and normative commitment.
