Latar belakang kebudayaan merupakan salah satu faktor yang sulit diukur dalam produktivitas dimana mengetahui produktivitas sangat penting untuk mengetahui profitabilitas sebuah perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah membandingkan produktivitas pekerjaan pasangan bata ringan dan plesteran bata ringan antara tenaga kerja yang berbeda latar belakang kebudayaan suku dalam dua proyek konstruksi hotel yang berbeda dengan menggunakan metode time study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tenaga kerja Suku X lebih produktif 17 untuk kepala tukang dan mandor 18 untuk tukang dan 10 untuk pekerja dalam produktivitas pemasangan bata ringan dibandngkan Suku Y Suku X juga lebih produktif 15 untuk mandor dan kepala tukang dan 3 untuk tukang dan knek dalam produktivitas plesteran bata ringan dibandingkan dengan Suku Y.

Labor Productivity is really important in measuring the performance and to increase its profitability One of the Culture background is one of a factor which is very difficult to be measured related to productivity where knowing productivity is very important to determine the profitability of a company. The purpose of this research is to compare the productivity of the group of labor with different cultural background the sample of this research are the labors who are working on light brick installation and light brick cement in two different hotel construction project. The method of this research is using Time Study.

The results show that the labor with variable X is 17 more productive for chief labor and co chief labor 18 for labor and 10 for worker for light brick installation labor group in comparison to Group Y However for light brick cement labor group the results show that labor with variable X is 15 more productive for chief labor and co chief labor and 3 for labor and worker also in comparison to Group Y.
