Skripsi ini berisi tentang penelitian mengenai efek bukaan terhadap kualitas akustik ruang di Masjid UI. Efek bukaan terhadap kualitas akustik umumnya adalah bising. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat kebisingan yang terdengar di dalam Masjid UI. Pengukuran dilakukan secara objektif maupun subjektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efek bukaan terhadap kualitas akustik ruang di masjid UI adalah bising, pembelokkan bunyi (refraksi dan difraksi) dan penerusan bunyi (transmisi) ke luar bangunan sehingga dapat mengurangi pantulan. Pengaruh terbesar dari bukaan pada masjid adalah bising.

This thesis describes about a research to the effects of exposure to the acoustic quality of a room in the University of Indonesia's mosque. The exposure effect is noisy. The research was done by measuring the level of noise that heard in the mosque of UI. The measurements conducted objectively and subjectively. The research found that the exposure effects is not only noisy, but also sound deflection (refraction and diffraction) and sound forwarding (transmission) to outside of the building so that reducing the reflection. But, the biggest influence of the mosque exposure is noisy.
