ABSTRAKTeknologi Informasi dipandang tengah mengalami perkembangan yang
sangat pesat. Mulai dari orang muda sampai dengan tua mulai mengenal teknologi
ini, begitu pula tidak hanya di dunia pendidikan saja akan tetapi juga di dunia
perkantoran. Beragam jenis teknologi informasi banyak diminati oleh masyarakat
dunia, dimulai dari telepon seluler, internet, teleconference, dan lain ragamnya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan teknologi informasi dan
komunikasi (TIK) khususnya internet terhadap kepuasan karyawan dalam
mendapatkan informasi. Analisis tidak melihat pada hasil yang dicapai akan tetapi
untuk mengukur bagaimana dan seberapa efektif karyawan dalam mendapatkan
kepuasan informasi dengan memanfaatkan sarana dan prasarana TIK seperti
internet, dan media sosial lainnya. Selain itu, penelitian ini untuk menelaah
apakah efek dari penggunaan internet dapat memberikan hasil positip terhadap
pekerjaan atau malah memberikan efek negatif serta untuk mengukur sejauh mana
karyawan efektif berkomunikasi dengan dunia luar kantor dengan menggunakan
teknologi ini.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan
teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner terhadap pegawai Pusbindiklat
Peneliti LIPI dengan pendekatan Uses and Gratification serta beberapa teori
lainnya yang ditentukan berdasarkan sampling.
Dari hasil analisis, pengaruh literasi informasi terhadap tingkat kepuasan
karyawan menunjukan bahwa dapat diliat dari manfaat dari internet yang
diperoleh oleh karyawan memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan dibanding dengan
dimensi variabel lainnya, kegiatan lain seperti mengakses data dan informasi
melalui internet serta pengaruh dari tingkat pendidikan dan jenis pekerjaan utama
menunjukan tidak berpengaruh secara siginifikan terhadap penciptaan
ide/gagasan, penyelesaian pekerjaan sesuai tujuan serta kebiasan bekerja.
Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa karyawan yang memetik manfaat dari internet
ada di setiap lini, dan hasilnya dapat langsung dirasakan oleh mereka, baik
peningkatan terhadap pekerjaan, hubungan sosial ataupun pola komunikasi antar
staf dan pimpinan.

other varieties. This study aims to analyze the role of information and
communication technology (ICT), especially the Internet on employee satisfaction
in getting information. Analysis did not look at the results achieved but to
measure how and how effective employee satisfaction in getting information by
leveraging ICT infrastructure such as the Internet, and other social media. In
addition, this study to examine whether the effect of the use of the Internet can
provide positive results to the job or even have negative effects as well as to
measure the extent to which employees communicate effectively with the outside
world using this technology office.

questionnaires to employees Pusbindiklat Peneliti LIPI with the Uses and

The expected outcome of this research is to provide input and ideas for the
management of human resources in fostering and support for employees. From
the analysis, the authors obtain information about the influence of literacy on the
level of employee satisfaction showed that the results obtained by the employee
benefits significantly, other activities such as accessing data and information via
the internet as well as the influence of the level of education and main occupation
showed no significant influence on the creation of idea / ideas, as well as the
completion of the work for the purpose for working habits. It can be concluded
that employees who have benefited from the internet is in every line, and the
results can be directly felt by them, either increase the employment, social
