Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru bahasa Inggris di MGMP Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru bahasa Inggris di MGMP Kabupaten Pidie. Variabel terikat (dependen) adalah kinerja guru. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 100 guru, sampel diambil dari seluruh populasi sehingga penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor dan analisis regresi ganda dengan metode stepwise.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru secara signifikan yaitu faktor pelaksanaan remedial siswa sebesar 0,237. Sedangkan enam faktor lain yang tidak berpengaruh yaitu: 1) Pelatihan program bermutu hanya mengejar target akhir yang berupa penyelesaian tagihan-tagihan, 2) Kompetnsi pedagogik disebabkan guru melaksanakan program pembelajaran dikejar target kurikulum saja, 3) Motivasi internal guru disebabkan kurang menguasai cara belajar-mengajar yang efektif dan belum memahami kurikulum dengan baik, 4) Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) disebabkan minat dan kemampuan guru masih kurang dalam memanfaatkan TIK, 5) Usia disebabkan guru yang telah berusia semakin berkurang kesehatannya, dan 6) Masa kerja disebabkan guru yang sudah lama bekerja merasa jenuh dan kurang bersemangat dalam melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar.

This study is aimed to find out factors which affect English teachers performance career in teachers forum of Pidie Regency. This study uses quantitative approach to find out factors which affect English teachers performance career in teachers forum of Pidie Regency. The dependent variable is teachers performance career. The number of population is 100 teachers. Sample is taken representatively from population in this study as population study. The statistical analysis which is used in this study is factor analysis and multiple regression analysis using stepwise method.

The result of the study shows that there is one factor which affects the significance of teachers performance career namely the factor of remedial activity for students that is 0.237, while the other six factors which cannot bring huge affect are: 1) the quality training program which is just targeted on completing tasks, 2) pedagogic competence of teachers is held just as a program to fulfill the target of curriculum, 3) teachers internal motivation that makes teachers cannot be able to master the material effectively and could not understand the curriculum as well, 4) the utilization of information and communication technology by teachers are still lack of motivation to integrate ICT in teaching and learning process. 5) Age that makes teacher are less in motivation because of the health condition, and 6) career time that makes those who have work for long time feel bored and lack of spirit to develop teaching and learning process as well.
