ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas tentang kegiatan usaha Koperasi Simpan Pinjam dalam menghimpun dana masyarakat. Tujuan Tesis ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kegiatan usaha tersebut merupakan penyimpangan ketentuan Pasal 44 Undang-Undang Koperasi No.25 Tahun 1992 jo Pasal 16 UU Perbankan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan data sekunder. Tipologi penelitian bersifat eksploratoris evaluatif. Hasil penelitian adalah kegiatan usaha Koperasi Simpan Pinjam dalam menghimpun dana masyarakat merupakan penyimpangan ketentuan Pasal 44 Undang-Undang Koperasi No.25 Tahun 1992 jo Pasal 16 UU Perbankan.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the business activities of the Savings and Credit Cooperative in raising public funds. The objective is to determine whether such business activity is the deviation of the Article 44 of the Cooperative Law Number 25 Year 1992 in conjunction with Article 16 of the Banking Law. The methodology of the research is normative juridical with secondary data. Typology of research is exploratory evaluative. The result of the research is the business activities of the Savings and Credit Cooperative in raising public funds is a deviation of Article 44 of the Cooperative Law Number 25 Year 1992 in conjunction with Article 16 of the Banking Law.
