Perkembangan era teknologi informasi telah mempengaruhi banyak bidang salah satunya seperti bidang ekonomi.Contoh perkembangan bidang ekonomi yang dipengaruhi teknologi informasi adalah hadirnya electronic money, yang tersimpan di dalam electronic wallet dan memungkinkan untuk dipakai sebagai sarana mobile payment. Perusahaan telekomunikasi seperti PT. XYZ menggunakan kesempatan bisnis ini untuk meluncurkan produk berupa Mobile Payment. Sayangnya perkembangan perkembangan penggunaan mobile payment terlihat stagnant bahkan cenderung turun. Keberadaan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini mencoba menemukan faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi sebagai pendukung utama bagi penerimaan konsumen terhadap sistem ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan TAM. Faktor-faktor perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, perceived security, perceived convenience, intention to use dan actual usage diharapkan akan memperlihatkan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi penerimaan pelanggan terhadap sistem ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasi lapangan untuk menemukan permasalahan sebenarnya dari konsumen yang mengunakan sistem mobile payment melalui penggunaan kuesioner. Metode pengumpulan data adalah non-probability sampling - judgemental sampling, karena sasaran responden adalah konsumen PT. XYZ yang telah menggunakan sistem mobile payment. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, perceived security, intention to use dan actual usage sebagai komponen yang mempengaruhi penerimaan pelanggan terhadap mobile payment PT. XYZ.

The development of the information has influenced other fields such as economics. one example of the economic development that affected by information technology is electronic money, stored in the electronic wallet, which can be used as a mobile payment. Telecommunication company such as PT. XYZ also use this business opportunity to launch its product, Mobile Payment. Unfortunately, the increment of mobile payment usage is stagnant and even tends to fall. The existence of this study is expected to be able to address issues faced by PT. XYZ. This research try to find factors that contribute as the main support for the costumer acceptance of the system using TAM approach. Factors like perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, perceived security, perceived convenience, intention to use, and actual usage would show real factors that support user acceptance on this system. This study uses field observation to find the real issues of the costumers who use mobile payment system using questionnaires, data collection method is non-probability sampling - judgmental sampling, because the target respondent is PT. XYZ customers that are using mobile payment system. This research produces perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, perceived security, intention to use, and actual usage as components that considered as supportive components to customer acceptance on mobile payment from PT. XYZ.
