[Pemetaan kegiatan Teknologi Infromasi (TI) yang baik pada pemerintahan,
khususnya sektor layanan publik memiliki tingkat urgensi yang sama tinggi
dengan sektor korporat. Tuntutan akan akuntabilitas dan transparansi, baik dari
stakeholder maupun masyarakat luas, membutuhkan suatu perangkat pendukung
terciptanya tata kelola yang baik di dalam organisasi.
Penelitian ini memotret kegiatan TI yang sudah ada pada Sekretariat Jenderal
KESDM dengan beberapa model IT Governance, dengan tujuan ingin
mengidentifikasi bagaimana penarapan IT Governance yang ada di Sekretariat
Jenderal KESDM berdasarkan teori-teori yang ada.
Dengan menggunakan best practices COBIT 4.1, penulis mencoba mengukur kondisi
kematangan proses-proses dari 4 domain yang terdapat dalam standar Maturity Level
berbasis COBIT 4.1.
Hasil penelitian ini meliputi pemetaan kondisi pelaksanaan kegitan TI saat ini dengan
menggunakan beberapa model IT Governace, kondisi kematangan dari semua prosesproses
yang ada, serta rekomendasi dan prioritas rencana implementasi yang perlu
dilakukan demi perbaikan pengelolaan TI di masa yang akan datang., Effective information technology (IT) mapping activities in the government
sectors, particularly at the public service sector, has the same high level of
urgency as that of the corporate sector. With demands for accountability and
transparency, either from the stakeholders and public, there is a need to have
supporting tools which will create and promote good governance within the
organization.
This research describes existing IT activity at the Secretariat General of the
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources with some models of IT governance,
aiming to identify how IT Governance is implemented at the Secretariat General
based on the existing theories.
By using COBIT 4.1 best practices, the author is trying to measure the maturity
level of the processes of 4 (four) domains contained in the standards-based
COBIT 4.1 Maturity Level.
The results of this study are include among others; mapping the current IT
implementation activity by using some models of IT Governance, maturity level
of all existing processes, as well as the implementation plan which include
recommendations and priorities that need to be done to improve the management
of IT in the future]
