 Abstract

Perilaku caring adalah inti dari keperawatan dan merupakan fokus sentral yang menyatu dalam praktik keperawatan. Asuhan keperawatan yang bermutu dengan memperlihatkan sikap caring kepada pasien memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara enam faktor karatif perilaku caring Watson yang dipersepsikan perawat dengan kepuasan pasien di Ruang Rawat Inap Dewasa Rumah Sakit Umum Tangerang. Penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan rancangan cross sectional ini menggunakan sampel sejumlah 97 perawat dan 97 pasien. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan analisis menggunakan univariat dan bivariat (Chi Square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan bermakna antara enam faktor karatif perilaku caring Watson yang dipersepsikan perawat dengan kepuasan pasien dengan p value 0,034 (α = <0.05). Rumah sakit perlu membudayakan enam faktor karatif perilaku caring dalam setiap asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan kepada pasien.

Caring behaviour is the core of nursing and also as focal point in nursing practice. Good quality of nursing practice which demonstrates caring intention has significant relationship with patient satisfaction. This research has objective to recognize the relationship among six factors of carative in Watson's caring behaviour which are perceived by nurses through patient satisfaction level in the Inpatient Care Unit of Rumah Sakit Umum Tangerang. The research of descriptive correlation with cross sectional design observed objects of 97 nurses and 97 patients. The data were collected through questionnaires with univariate and bivariate (Chi Square) method for data analysis. This research recognized significant relationship between six factors of carative of caring behaviour with nurse's perception through patient satisfaction level with p value of 0,034. The hospital is required to cultivate six factor of caring behaviuor in their each nursing practice deliverables to the patients.
