Ruang terbuka hijau atau RTH, sebagai upaya pelestarian alain dan lingkungan,ineiniliki manfaat sosial dan ekologi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidupinanusia. Di samping itu, pelabuhan penyeberangan penumpang merupakan Salahsatu bagian penting dari perkotaan sebagai gerbang dan simpul transportasi kota.Namun, fasilitas publik tersebut tidak mengoptimalkan pelestarian alam danlingkungan dalain rnengeinbangkan lingkung bangunnya. Dengan Studi kasusPelabuhan Muara Angke, penelitian sederhana ini rnengulas pentingnya RTH beserta faktor-faktor pendukungnya dalarn meinperoleh pengalainan keruangan pada pelabuhan penyeberangan sebagai wang terbuka sekaligus ruang publik dengan perhatian alam dan lingkungan. Penyediaan RTH pada pelabuhan penyeberangan nieningkatkan kualitas lingkungan yang kemudian nieningkatkankualitas hidup penghuninya juga, yaitu penduduk lokal, penumpang ataupengunjung dan pekerja pelabuhan.;

ABSTRACT
Green open space or RTH, as the natural and environmental preservation,cultivates ecological and social benefits that can improve the quality of humanlife. Next to it, crossing harbor for passengers is one of many important parts ofthe urban life as the city gate and transportation nodes. However, those publicfacilities are not optimizing natural and environmental conservations indeveloping their built environments. With Pelabuhan Muara Angke as the case,this simple study reviews the importance of RTH along with the supportingfactors in gaining the spatial experience in the crossing harbor as a public open space with nature and environmental concern.
