ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh budaya partisipasi melalui internet terhadap
keterlibatan warga negara dengan mediasi pengetahuan politik, efikasi politik, dan
ketertarikan politik. Dengan kerangka pemikiran budaya partisipasi, penelitian ini
dilakukan pada Mahasiswa Regular Universitas Indonesia dengan sampel 376.
Penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional survey. Analisis data dengan
menggunakan structural equation modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan dua
langkah (two step approach). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya
partisipasi melalui internet berpengaruh pada efikasi politik dan keterlibatan
warga negara meski pengaruh tersebut tidaklah kuat. Hasil penelitian ini
merekomendasikan literasi media baru, dalam hal ini internet.

This study examines the effects of participatory culture through internet on the
citizen engagement with the mediation of political knowledge, political efficacy,
and political interests. With the cultural framework of participatory culture, this
study involves 376 Regular Students of University of Indonesia as the samples.
