dan meniru. Salah satu yang mungkin dilakukan adalah speech imitation, yaitu
menirukan ucapan atau pembicaraan yang ditangkap melalui indera. Beberapa
penelitian terdahulu menyatakan bahwa selain banyaknya suku kata dan panjangnya
kalimat, speech imitation dipengaruhi oleh jeda antara stimulus dan respon,
pengulangan kata, dan jenis kelamin pembicara.
Anak dapat meniru hal yang dilihatnya melalui media, seperti tayangan.
Sebuah penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak lebih tertarik untuk mengamati dan
menirukan tayangan yang menampilkan gambar dan suara dibandingkan dengan yang
hanya memiliki tampilan suara. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa tidak terdapat
