Salah satu hak dasar setiap individu maupun warga negara Indonesia lainnya ialah mendapatkan kesehatan melalui pelayanan kesehatan. Kesehatan sangat erat kaitannya dengan dunia obat-obatan. Semua obat-obatan yang beredar harus dapat dijamin keamanan, khasiat, dan mutunya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu pedoman yang meliputi seluruh aspek produksi dan pengendalian mutu sehingga setiap obat yang dihasilkan selalu memenuhi ketentuan mutu yang telah ditetapkan. Pedoman tersebut adalah pedoman Cara Pembuatan Obat Yang Baik (CPOB). Seorang apoteker merupakan kunci dalam penerapan segala aspek yang tercantum dalam CPOB. Apoteker tidak hanya membutuhkan pengetahuan teoritis, tetapi juga pengalaman bergelut langsung di lapangan. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut dijalin kerjasama dengan industri farmasi untuk menyelenggarakan praktek kerja apoteker. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker ini dijalankan dari periode 17 Juni - 12 Juli 2013 dan 12 - 30 Agustus 2013 di PT. Aventis Pharma.

One of the basic rights of every individual as well as other Indonesian citizens are getting health care through health services. Health is closely associated with the drugs. All the drugs in circulation should be guaranteed safety, efficacy, and quality. Therefore we need a guide that covers all aspects of production and quality control so that each drug produced always comply with established quality. These guidelines are the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP/CPOB). A pharmacist is a key person in all aspects of the application that are listed in the GMP. Pharmacists not only requires theoretical knowledge, but also the experience in the real field. To achieve the requirements, a co-operation with the pharmaceutical industry to conduct practice pharmacist was held. Pharmacist Practice is run from the period June 17th to July 12nd, 2013 and August 5nd to 30th 2013 in the PT. Aventis Pharma.
