Tesis ini membahas efektifitas penerapan SMK3 perusahaan KKKS GOKPLdalam menekan kecelakaan kerja kegiatan eksplorasi MIGAS di indonesia.Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitianmenyarankan implementasi SMK3 agar ditingkatkan karena terlihat efektif dalammenurunkan kecelakaan kerja, perusahaan agar melakukan audit secara rutinuntuk memastikan bahwa SMK3 dijalankan oleh semua jenjang didalamorganisasi dan dapat menjalankan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan, evaluasi SMK3Kontraktor (CSMS) agar terus ditingkatkan,bisnis perusahaan banyak melibatkankontraktor yang merupakan salah satu penentu terciptanya keselamatan dankesehatan ditempat kerja, dan sangat mempengaruhi dalam menekan angkakecelakaan seperti yang telah dibahas dalam penelitian ini .

ABSTRACT
The focus of this study is to determine the GOKPL Company OHS-MS ImplementationLevel in reducing accident rate in Oil & Gas exploration activity. This is a qualitativestudy with descriptive design.
