Tujuh puluh persen dari seluruh penduduk Indonesia adalah pekerja. Produktivitas kerja serta kelangsungan hidup para pekerja sangat dipengaruhi oleh derajat kesehatan yang dimiliki oleh pekerja. Promosi kesehatan di tempat kerja merupakan salah satu dari bagian integral dari pelayanan kesehatan kerja dan merupakan unsur penting dalam pemeliharaan dan peningkatan derajat kesehatan pekerja. Dari hasil laporan menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya promosi kesehatan di tempat kerja berdampak pada kesehatan pekerja, pekerja yang sehat hanya sedikit sekali kehilangan hari kerja karena mengalami sakit.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahui gambaran faktor yang mempengaruhi absensi sakit dan prilaku Pekerja hidup pekerja terhadap kejadian absensi sakit di PT.X selama periode waktu Maret 2009-Maret 2010. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Hasil yang didapatkan berdasarkan analisa bivariat yaitu variabel-variabel yang berhubungan dengan kejadian absensi karena sakit pada pekerja di PT. X selama periode waktu Maret 2009-Maret 2010 adalah usia (p = 0,030), jenis pekerjaan (p = 0,017), kebiasaan merokok (p = 0,014), pola tidur.
Seventy percent of the entire population in Indonesia is worker. Work productivity and the survival of the workers is strongly influenced by the degree of health which is owned by workers. Health promotion in the workplace is one of the integral part of occupational health services and is an important element in the maintenance and improvement of health status of workers. From the results of the report shows that with the existence of health promotion in the workplace affects the health of workers, health workers has very little loss of working days due to an illness.
The purpose of this study is to be seen the illustration Factors Related to sick absenteeism of worker at PT X during time period of March 2009-March 2010. This research is quantitative research with cross sectional design. Results obtained based on bivariate analysis are variables associated with the incidence of absenteeism due to illness of workers at the PT. X during the time period March 2009-March 2010 were age (p = 0.030), occupation (p = 0.017), smoking (p = 0.014), sleep pattern (p = 0.003).
